The Guest House at LAAF is OPEN!!!

The Guest House at LAAF opened over Memorial Day weekend.  We welcomed our first guests from the Lancaster area.  Their daughter was celebrating her 10th birthday and her birthday wish was to visit an alpaca farm.  We are honored that she chose ours and that they stayed two nights at The Guest House.  After a tour of the farm, our visitors walked the six yearling "boys" --  Trophee,Copter, Luxor,  Max, Taccino, and Valor --  to the lower fields surrounding The Guest House where they joined some of the other males already residing there.  If you've ever been on an alpaca farm, you'll understand what I mean when I say the yearling males are so much fun!  Ever curious, they are always anxious to see new things and people and get involved in anything and everything!  So our visitors had a great time learning about alpacas and just being with them....so much so that the young girls were up at 5 am and out with the alpacas on a weekend!!!!!

The Guest House is 90% or so completed.  We still have some painting to do and there are pictures to be hung.  The TV is hooked up to the antennae and it brings in 35 channels.....fun to watch as most are old shows!  There's free WiFi just in case you need to bring your work with you and a printer is available.  Plans are underway for the fire pit.  I just can't decided if I want it in ground or an above ground/moveable pit.  And the hammock in the back yard is definitely a hit!

The Guest House rental come with most everything you need including kitchen staples, laundry detergent, toiletries.  However if you want to rent Tacoma, our Great Pyrenees for the weekend, we'll have to charge you for that!
