Things We're Thankful For...

This advertisement came to me from Shoptiques, an E-Commerce site where we offer a limited selection of Pachallina's clothing.  While I'm grateful for the many conveniences we have today, there's a bit of nostalgia longing for the days when stores were closed on Sundays and "going shopping" was an infrequent and major event. Perhaps we are seeing some backlash to the unrelenting, fast paced lifestyle as evidenced by several recent postings.  Thus,  I've added a few of my own reasons to be thankful...

5.  Stores that will close for Thanksgiving and let their employees enjoy the day with their families.
6.  Nordstroms....who decided not to start one holiday before we finished the previous one.
7.  Thanksgiving...my favorite holiday and gathering...
8.  Those that protect us so that we may enjoy Thanksgiving.
9.  Our Family and Friends.
10. Our Freedom to Worship the Faith of our Choice.
