No snow for Whitetail Ski Resort....now what to do!?!?!?!?

Unseasonably warm weather for Mercersburg, located in south central PA.   I can count two groups that might be complaining.....my alpacas and Whitetail Ski Resort. Whitetail Ski Resort doesn't need actual snowfall as most of their snow is manmade, but it does need colder temperatures, especially at night.  So what to do if you can't go skiing, snowboarding, or tubing?

Biking along the C & O canal is a lot of fun and something that people of all skill levels can enjoy together.  There are several State Parks, one of my favorite being Caledonia State Park, located east of Chambersburg, or Cowans Gap State Park, Ft. Loudon.  Speaking of forts, history buffs will find this area has been well documented as to it's role in US History.  Particular points of interest are James Buchanan Birthplace, Antietam Battlefields, the Underground Railroad, and Conococheague  Institute.
